Ann Lynn Funderburk Mank, 85, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Atrium Health University Hospital. She was born March 11, 1939, in Belleville, Ill., to the late Theodore Weston Funderburk and Mabel Selma Lippert Funderburk.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; an infant grandson, Connor Biggs; and cousin, William Yanda.

Ann graduated from Belleville Township High School in 1957. She attended Belleville Junior College (now SWIC). Ann met Richard while working at Belleville National Savings Bank in 1963, and the two were married in 1964. In 1965, Ann left the bank to start her family. In 1992, after raising their family, Ann and Richard moved to Ft. Myers, Fla. In 2006, they relocated to Mooresville, N.C. Ann loved going to the beach and going on cruises. She enjoyed embroidery, fishing, and going on road trips. Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a member of the Newcomer’s Group, and the Elk’s Ladies’ Committee. She was a life-long fan of both the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues. Ann’s quick wit and storytelling abilities always drew people to her.

Ann is survived by her children, Deborah Biggs (Douglas) and John Mank (Katie); and grandchildren, Brock and Brody Biggs, Nolan, Cavan, Clare, Finley, and Teaghan Mank.
