Donna Taylor Bass, 76, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, at S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville. She was born on March 12, 1947, in Danville, Va., to the late Otis Taylor and Margie Carter Taylor.

Donna was devoted to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and tried her best to be a witness to the world for him. She was always very involved in her church and loved her church family. She had the distinction of being the very first GA Queen Regent in Eastern, North Carolina. She was also the first Den Leader at Cub Scout Pack 165 in Charlotte and an expert seamstress. However, her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She was always supportive and very proud of them all. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
