Kathryn “Katie Belle” England, 76, of Troutman, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Born on October 10, 1947, she was the wife of Mickey England and the daughter of the late John Daniel and Mary Todd Cline.

She was a graduate of West Mecklenburg High School and retired as a head teller in the banking industry. She was a member of Locust United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafting, reading, horseback riding, and loving on her little dog Rosie.

Katie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Mickey Wayne England; one daughter, Tracy (Kerry) Yandle of Lincolnton; and two sons, John (Michele) England of Kannapolis and David (Carla) England of Statesville. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kyle (Amy) Yandle of Forest City, Samantha (James) Dameron of China Grove, Nicholas (Gabrielle) England of Salisbury, and Arianna England, also of Salisbury; as well as four great grandchildren. Several brothers and sisters also survive.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Troutman Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Gray officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 2 until 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Katie’s memory to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
