Margaret Lee Brown Freeman, 87, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, at S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House.

She was born February 22, 1936, in Mooresville to the late Ivey Lee Brown and Ola Pope Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Eugene Freeman; and siblings, JB Brown, Peggy B. Moss, and Rachel B. Bowles.

Margaret was a lifelong member of Fieldstone Presbyterian Church, where she served as an Elder, Deacon, and Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed visiting people, delivering Meals on Wheels, church activities, and going to yard sales. She loved going to the beach with her friends.

Margaret is survived by her children, Sheree F. Sherrill and husband Bobby, and Kimmy Eugene Freeman; grandchildren, Ashley Thompson and husband Matthew, and Brooke Sherrill; and great-grandchildren, Charles, Colton Jada, and Addisyn.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, February 7, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Fieldstone Presbyterian Church. Services will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Danny Trapp officiating. Burial will follow the service in Glenwood Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fieldstone Presbyterian Church, 804 Fieldstone Road, Mooresville, NC 28115.
