Shakeim Al-terique Turner, 24, was born in Forsyth County, N.C., on September 6, 1999, to Travis Lamont Davidson and Sharaka Turner Mashore. He departed this life on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Shakeim graduated from South Iredell High School with the Class of 2018. He was known as “Shurna” by his family and friends. Shakeim was employed with Dollar General as a cashier.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rome Davidson.

He leaves to cherish the memory of his life his father, Travis Lamont Davidson; his mother, Sharaka Turner (Jeffrey) Mashore; siblings, Jebrarn Mashoe, Jenesha Mashore, and Travis Davidson Jr.; grandparents, Connie (Roosevelt) Jenkins, Tony Bernard Toner, and Ethel Davidson; bonus grandparents, James and Yvonne Wright; uncles, Darren Warren and Rico Davidson; aunts, Cherell Gamble (Joe) Acostia, Lashonda Davidson, Katrina Warren, and Adrianna Warren; special bonus family, Mashores; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.

Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Christian Outreach of the Piedmont at 3 p.m. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. and burial will follow in the Belmont Cemetery.
