Sharon Diane Danyels Mayberry, 59, of Statesville, N.C., passed away Friday, March 29, 2024, at her sister’s house.

Sharon was born June 29, 1964, in Iredell County and was the daughter of Connie Gilleland Baggarly and the late Stephen Grady Miller of Harmony. Along with her mother, she was raised by her step-father, James Henry Danyels (Nellie), who survives, of Olin. She was a graduate of Statesville High School and previously worked for Mocaro Inc. in Statesville. Sharon cherished her friends, family and loved working in her flowers and sunshine.

In addition to her mother, step-father and step-mother, Sharon is survived by one son, James Bradley Mayberry of Statesville; two sisters, Susan Stroud (Randy) of Statesville and Misty Guillory (Adrien) of Statesville; one brother, Alex Danyels (Janet) of Statesville; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Troutman Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Pope officiating. Burial will follow in the Iredell Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, Front Street Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church.
