Steven Saccone, 65, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on May 23, 2024, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, N.C. He was born January 23, 1959, in Astoria, N.Y., to the late Saverio Saccone and Barbara Calleo Saccone.

Steven was in Wall Street sales and the former owner of the Woodbury Buick Chevrolet dealership. He went on to develop and run Platinum Properties Real Estate. Steven possessed a large and generous heart. His gregarious personality made him memorable and lovable to all. His love for his dogs and children was ever on display. Nothing pleased him more than hosting his friends and family. His Friday night cocktail parties were a beloved ritual. Steven’s generosity and desire to help others extended well beyond his family and friends. His success in business was a result of his ability to go the extra mile for clients and associates. He will be missed by a staggering number of people.

Steven is survived by a sister and brother in-law, Anna Marie and Bobby Braslow; brother and sister in-law, John and Robin Saccone; daughter, Jackie; son, Terrance; grandchildren, Aryana, Jordan, and Trevor; and all his beloved nieces, nephews and friends that he considered family.

A Farewell gathering will be held at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home on Saturday, June 1, from 4 to 6 p.m.
