Ms. Taccarra Tamika Bailey, 38, was born in Iredell County, N.C., on November, 9, 1985, to Bradley Karl Stevenson and Helen Beatrice Bailey. She departed this life on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the Gordon Hospice House.
Taccara was a graduate of Mitchell Community College and was employed as a teacher’s assistant at N.B. Mills Elementary School. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

I remember Taccarra as a student at West Middle. She was a powerful young lady full of energy. I later saw her at an I-SS banquet where she was named a School Bus Driver of the Year. She had become a softer, yet still powerful young woman. I feel VERY blessed to have known her.
