Jeffrey Lynn Ammon Jr., affectionately known as “Peanut,” passed away peacefully at his home on July 6, 2025, at the age of 45. Born on December 23, 1979, in Statesville, N.C., He was the cherished son of Deborah Ammon and the late Jeffrey Lynn Ammon Sr.

Lynn grew up in Statesville and graduated from West Iredell High School, where he began to form the values of hard work and dedication that would define his life. Lynn was a shipping manager at J.C. Steele. He was previously employed for 18 years at Toter and at MSI Defense for four years. His passion for life extended beyond the workplace; he found joy in fishing and spending time on the lake, where he created lasting memories with family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Jules Ammon, and fur babies, Ruger and Kimber; his mother, Deborah Mills Ammon; sister, Shanda Ammon; and a loving nephew, Avery Hodges (Miranda). Lynn’s family extends to his mother- and father-in-law, Martha and Danny Foster.

The Ammon family invites all who knew and loved Lynn to come together as they celebrate his life and the loving legacy he leaves behind. A Celebration of Lynn’s Life will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Mooresville Moose Lodge, located at 2126 Charlotte Highway, Mooresville, NC 28115.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Iredell County Humane Society, 2106 Charlotte Highway, Mooresville, NC 28117.
