With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved mother, Alice Williams Crouch, 85, of Taylorsville, N.C., who went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Carolina Caring in Newton, N.C.

Alice was born August 14, 1940, in Alexander County, N.C. She was the cherished daughter of Willie David Williams and Etta Mae Childers Williams.

Alice was a woman known for her kindness, her loving heart, and her warm welcoming smile. She never turned away anyone in need, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Her life was a reflection of love, faith, and selflessness. She found great joy in cooking/baking cakes for her family, filling her home with comfort and happiness. She also had a deep love for bluegrass gospel music which brought her peace and joy throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Crouch, and six brothers.

Those left to cherish and honor Alice’s memories include her loving daughter, Jill Crouch (Brian Barnes); her cherished grandchildren, Tommy Bell (Kailee), and Garrett Bell (Karlee); special extended family members, Logan, Gwendolyn, and Colton Barnes, Breanah, Dakota, and Justice Sprinkle; her fur babies, Sadie Mae and Oreo; her special nieces, Cathy Williams and Debbie Fox; her special nephews, Leroy Crouch and Tony Crouch; her brothers, Jerry, Ronnie, and Wayne Williams; her sister, Margaret Moose; and a number of other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Adams Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 6 p.m. in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Mark Howell will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace and resting within the arms of Jesus. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely.
