It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Hutchens, 64, on April 1, 2026. Barbara was a beloved Wife, Mother, Mamaw, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend whose love and kindness touched everyone who knew her.

Barbara will be remembered for her generous heart, gentle spirit, and the warmth of her beautiful smile. She had a special way of making others feel loved and valued, and her presence brought comfort and joy to family and friends alike.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 38 years, Dennis Hutchens; sons, Patrick Hutchens (Erin) and Travis Hutchens (Jessie); and cherished grandchildren, Paisley, Parks, Steel, and Jace. She is also survived by her parents, Ted and Shirley Riddle; her siblings, Debbie Culler, Allen Riddle (Susan), and Tammy Loudermilt (Chris); and her nieces and nephews, Kristi Culler, Madison Sell (Cole), Makenzie Payne (John), Tyler Loudermilt, Logan Mills (Seth), and Lindsey Toothaker (Chris).

Barbara also leaves behind her great-nieces and nephews, Garrett, Raylan, Paige, Rhett, Cannon, and Carter, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 7, at Western Avenue Baptist Church, with visitation at 1:30 p.m. and service at 3 p.m.

Barbara’s legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will live on in all who knew her. She will be forever loved and never forgotten.
