Jessica Munday Hinkle, 45, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Gordon Hospice House. She was born November 26, 1980, in Iredell County, the daughter of Karen Sue Shoemaker and the late Ronald Lee Munday.

Jessica was of the Baptist faith. She had a special affection for her dog, Calliou. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, and watching documentaries. Above all, she cherished and loved her family.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Lee Munday Jr.

Along with her mother, those left to honor and cherish her memory include her daughter, Rachel Addison Walker (Tyler Walker); her sons, James Gabriel Munday, and Adam Carl Hinkle Jr. (Kensley Marlowe); those who were like her children, Abigail Kristina Benge, Ashton Wyatt and Little Silas; her sisters, Janna Leigh Munday, and Karileigh Munday; her brothers, Joseph Aaron Munday (Jennifer Munday), and James Matthew Munday; her nephews, Joe Munday, Wyatt Munday, and James Munday; her niece, Jensyn Munday; her uncle, Rufus Rex Shoemaker; and a number of loved ones.
