Mark “Doc” Leo Charlesworth, 62, of Moravian Falls, N.C., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 18, 2026, at his home. He was born January 21, 1964, in Greensburg, Pa., the son of the late Lewis Charles Charlesworth and Beatrice Sara Byrd Charlesworth.

Mark worked for Shur-Tape in Stony Point for over 35 years and was of the Christian faith. He loved to fish and hike, and he was a great archer and won many trophies. He was a wonderful craftsman, and he loved to travel with his best buddy Fred, his yellow lab.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Charlesworth.

Those left to cherish and honor his memories include his children, Mark Brandon Charlesworth and David Featherstone, Tessa Danielle Charlesworth and Cody Lee; his loving granddaughter, Isla Corine Lee; his brothers, Edward Charlesworth and wife Joyce, and Joseph Charlesworth and wife Mary; his nieces and nephews, Tiffany Pundai and husband Brandan, Maverick Baer and wife Rachael, Eric Minton and wife Robin, Cathy Charlesworth, Eddy Charlesworth, Emmy Lou Charlesworth, and Julie Lupyan; and a number of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Adams Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 3 p.m. in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Blaine Keaton will officiate.
