Peggy Pope Daniels, 86, of Troutman, N.C., passed away Monday, April 20, 2026, at her home. She was born on December 16, 1939, in Iredell County to the late Paul Eugene Pope and Minnie Privette Pope.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Linnie Dual Daniels; son, Paul Daniels; sister, Wilma Scalea; and brother, Clyde Pope.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kim, Sheree, Rick, Kathy and Debra; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Elizabeth Salerno.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements for Mrs. Daniels are in the care of Troutman Funeral Home.
