Apostle Robert “Bobby” Lee Harrison was born from the union of the late Apostle W. Sunkins and St. Lee Etta (Sunkins) Walton. His name was put on the United House of Prayer for All People’s roll in Norfolk, Va., by his mother and father. At birth, he was three pounds. When his mother informed Daddy McCollough, Daddy asked, “Is he breathing?” They responded, “Yes, Sir.” Then Daddy said, “He will be alright.” Doctors gave him days to live. God gave him over 63 years.

There in Norfolk 1, Apostle Harrison was a member of the Jr. Choir and Shout Band, playing the bass drum for many years, and of the Virginia State Marching Band, playing the trumpet. Apostle Harrison graduated from Norview High School in Norfolk, Va. In 1982, he attended the McCollough Theological Seminary in Richmond, Va.

Apostle Harrison received certification as a Pathologist Assistant & Phlebotomist. He was a Freemason, an entrepreneur and a go-getter like his mother. He was taught how to lay brick by his grandfather, the late Deacon Andrew Williams Sr. He owned several businesses over his lifetime, as a Brick Mason, Carpenter, and Independent Construction Contractor. He bought, renovated, and sold properties. He also worked as a Cadaver Transporter, Uber Driver, Pathologist, Phlebotomist, and Trucking Company owner.

Apostle Harrison loved all our leaders. Daddy Grace, Daddy McCullough, Daddy Madison, Daddy Bailey, and the prophet today, Daddy Cunningham. He was made an Apostle under Daddy Madison. At the age of 18, he answered Daddy McCollough’s call to be an Elder, the 300 #4.

Apostle Harrison pastored well over three decades in the following congregations: Walterboro, S.C., Camden, N.J., Statesville, N.C., Cincinnati, Ohio, Boston, Mass., and Atlanta, Ga., until his health declined.

He was willing to step in and do all he could in God’s kingdom. Apostle Harrison served as a Credentialed Elder with the General Council and was a Judge for the Band Competition for several years. He was also a House of Prayer Photographer.

His last membership was on the Elder Board in Norfolk 1, his home. Under the pastoralship of Apostle W.P. Scott, Norfolk 1, he helped the house become the 3rd Top House in the entire organization. Apostle Harrison preached his last sermon before Daddy Cunningham in Raleigh, N.C., in 2025.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, St. Lena Williams and Deacon Andrew Williams Sr., Norfolk 1; his Godmother, St. Lillie Stallworth, Norfolk #2; his father and stepmother, Apostle W. Sunkins, Burton, Va., and St. Dorothy Sunkins, Charlotte #2.
