Rose Marie Allison, 68, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2026. She was born on October 1, 1957, in Dillon, S.C., to the late Arthur Snipes and Addie Jean Cook.

Rose worked for many years in the public school system as a cook, where she enjoyed serving others and caring for the children and staff she met along the way. She was known for her warm heart and hardworking nature

For 45 wonderful years, Rose shared a loving marriage with her husband, Paul Allison. Together they built a life centered on faith, love, and family. Their bond was an example of lasting devotion and commitment.

Rose was a devoted born-again Christian who loved the Lord with all her heart. She and her husband Paul are long-time members of Northview Freewill Baptist Church. Her faith was the foundation of her life and was reflected in the compassion and care she showed to everyone around her. Rose was the heart of her family and church family. She had a special love for angels, which beautifully matched her gentle and loving spirit.

To her family, Rose was truly one of a kind. She was an amazing mother and a wonderful aunt. Her family says she will be missed more than words could ever express.

While her passing leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of those who loved her, they find peace knowing she is resting safely in the arms of the Lord she faithfully served throughout her life. Rose’s love, faith, and memory will continue to live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Joyce, Glenda and Linda.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Paul Allison; son, James Allison; sisters, Pat and Carol “Tuck”; brothers, Mann, Kenny, Charlie, and Peter; special niece, Betty “ Sissy”; and many more family and friends.
