Ursula Klinger, 67, of Troutman, N.C., passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at her home. She was born March 9, 1959, in Dampierre-sur-Blevy, France, and was the daughter of Donald and Eva Warnack Mason.

Ursula was, above everything else, a best friend. For 42 years her husband would tell you that’s exactly what she was to him — not just a partner and not just a wife, but the person he wanted by his side for all of it. The good days, the hard ones, and everything in between that doesn’t have a name but makes up most of a life.

For her two children she was their safe place and the voice that will forever remind them that they are deeply loved. Her three grandchildren knew her as the kind of grandmother who made you feel like the whole world had stopped to pay attention to you because when she was with you, it had.

She is survived by her husband Marc, daughter Allie and her husband Bryan, son Ryan and his wife Emily, her grandchildren Piper, Lucas and June, a circle of loving friends and her beloved pug, Lola.

A Celebration of Life will be planned in the near future and will be announced prior to that time.

Arrangements for Ursula are in the care of Troutman Funeral Home.
