Richard Armstrong

Iredell-Statesville Schools Assistant Superintendent Richard Armstrong was honored on Wednesday for his contributions to middle and high school sports by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association.

Armstrong was presented the Charlie Adams Distinguished Service Award during the 2020 NCHSAA Region 7 virtual meeting.

The award is given in memory of long-time NCHSAA Executive Director Charlie Adams.

Armstrong was recognized for going above and beyond expectations, for his support of NCHSAA activities, and his service to athletics across public schools in North Carolina.
