A special session of Iredell County Criminal Superior Court was held during the week of November 29. The Office of District Attorney Sarah Kirkman announced dispositions in the following cases:

♦ Jamario Edwards was found guilty of common law robbery after a jury trial and was sentenced as a Habitual Felon to 77 to 105 months in prison.

♦ Lance Abram pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted trafficking in methamphetamine and received a suspended sentence of 16 to 29 months in prison.

♦ Heather Chiodo pleaded guilty to possession with intent to sell or deliver a schedule IV controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine. She received a suspended sentence of six to 17 months in prison.

♦ Carnito Glaspy pleaded guilty to assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and possession of a firearm by a felon and received consecutive sentences of 60 to 84 months and 30 to 45 months in prison.

♦ Kieyon Murdock pleaded guilty to two counts of discharging a weapon into occupied property, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon and one count of resisting an officer. He was sentenced to 18 to 31 months in prison, followed by two consecutive 75-day active sentences, followed by 12 to 24 months suspended and 36 to 56 months suspended. Those suspended sentences shall begin upon his release from prison.

♦ Brian Rucker pleaded guilty to assault on a female, Interfere with 911 and assault by strangulation and was sentenced to consecutive suspended sentences of 150 days, plus 150 days, plus 12 to 24 months.
