A 24-year-old man faces felony charges after fleeing officers and crashing into multiple vehicles, according to a Mooresville Police Department news release.

The MPD announced the arrest of Mooresville resident Conner Shane Stillson on Thursday evening.

Earlier Thursday an MPD officer attempted to stop a vehicle on East McLelland Avenue for a traffic violation, police said.

The vehicle, driven by Stillson, failed to stop and fled from the officer, according to the news release.

During the ensuing pursuit, Stillson crashed his vehicle into a police car and later lost control and crashed
into another vehicle, police said.

No injuries were sustained in the crashes, according to the MPD.

Stillson was charged with assault on law enforcement, felony speeding to elude, felony possession of methamphetamine, and multiple traffic offenses resulting from the pursuit.

Stillson also had outstanding arrest warrants for failing to appear in court on multiple drug violations and traffic offenses
