Early voting begins on Thursday, July 7, for the City of Statesville run-off elections for mayor and two at-large city council seats as well as the Ward 3 and Ward 4 seats on the Mooresville Town Board of Commissioners.

Election Day is Tuesday, July 26. 

Early Voting Schedule 

Early voting runs through Saturday, July 23. Early voting will be held at the Board of Elections office in Statesville and at the War Memorial Building in Mooresville.

♦ Thursday, July 7 & Friday, July 8: 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
♦ Monday, July 11 – Friday, July 15: 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
♦ Monday, July 18 – Friday, July 22: 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
♦ Saturday, July 23 — 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On the Ballot

Statesville

Registered voters residing inside the City of Statesville will be eligible to vote in two races:

Mayor: Incumbent Costi Kutteh and Brian Summers
City Council At-Large: Incumbent Steve Johnson, James Pressly and Kimberly Wasson (Vote for 2)

Mooresville

Registered voters who live in Ward 3 and Ward 4 are eligible to vote:

Ward 3: Tommy DeWeese and Kevin Kasel
Ward 4: Incumbent Lisa Qualls
