I-SS: Number of students, staff excluded from school due to COVID-19 declined last week

A total of 676 Iredell-Statesville Schools students missed class during the week of February 4-10 after testing positive for COVID-19, being deemed a close contact or exhibiting symptoms.

Fifty-nine staff members missed school after testing positive, being deemed a close contact or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 during the same time period.

There was a positive test at 27 district schools.
