Nearly 500 people and their dogs enjoyed much of what Rescue Ranch had to offer at the 2nd annual Dogtoberfest on Saturday. It was a beautiful day to be outside, and everyone seemed to enjoy the fantastic hay art, variety of local vendors, food trucks, beer vendors, and live music. The kids loved playing on Rescue Ranch’s 10,000-square-foot, all-inclusive playground and a fun animal-themed train ride. Guests could visit and feed the barnyard animals, try out the tennis ball slingshot, and watch dog agility demonstrations. But the biggest hit was the doggy costume contest. With nearly 40 entries, it was a fun way to wrap up the event.
