Under harsh weather conditions, personnel from Shepherds Fire-Rescue and Mooresville Fire-Rescue and members of the community embarked on the 27-mile Ruck for Robinson Benefit on Sunday morning.

Chief Robinson is a pivotal member of the Community and 37-year veteran of the fire service. He has beaten cancer five times and is ready to crush it again with the support of his wife and 10-year-old son.

Participants in the ruck braved horrible weather conditions to help one of their own. The chief’s supporters are accepting donations to help offset medical expenses that are not covered by insurance.
