Sheriff Darren Campbell  announced the arrest of Tiffany Ann Davis, 41, of Douglas Street, Statesville, in a news release Tuesday.

On Friday, October 13, ICSO Narcotics Unit investigators, along with members the Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team, executed a narcotics search warrant at 139 Douglas Street.

After receiving information from citizens about drug sales occurring at that residence and the surrounding areas, investigators conducted surveillance operations and then purchased crystal methamphetamine directly from the occupants at the residence, the sheriff said.

When the warrant was executed, Davis and a male subject were inside the home, according to the news release.

During the search, deputies located 10 grams of methamphetamine and items of drug paraphernalia consistent with packaging and selling methamphetamine, Campbell said.

Davis was arrested and charged with two counts of Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Crystal Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine, Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for the Sale or Use of a Controlled Substance, and Felony Conspiracy to Sell or Deliver Crystal Methamphetamine.

She was taken to the Iredell County Detention Center. Magistrate D. Chambers ordered her held without bond because Davis was free on bond on a previous narcotics charge at the time of her arrest, according to the news release.

Investigators obtained arrest warrants for Javon Donte Sherrill, 42, of Armfield Street Statesville, for Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Crystal Methamphetamine, Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for a Controlled Substance, and Felony Conspiracy to Sell or Deliver Crystal Methamphetamine.

Anyone who knows Sherrill’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office at 704-878-3100 or call 911.
