The Stony Point Volunteer Fire Department will hold its 16th Annual Cruise-In on Saturday, October 14. The event, which runs from 3 to 6 p.m., will be held at Station 1, located at 501 Ruritan Park Road off of Taylorsville Highway in Stony Point.

This them of this year’s event is “No One Fights Alone,” with the department showing support for breast cancer awareness. 

There will be BBQ sandwiches and hot dogs for sale, along with a bake sale, cake walk, and 50/25/25 raffle. Specialty awards to be given to the cruiser voted on by Firefighters, Auxiliary and People’s Choice.

In lieu of an entry fee, please bring care items for tote bags to be given to cancer patients. Ideas include small puzzles or devotional books, ink pens, socks, small throw blankets, etc.
