The Longest Table is being set in Mooresville to celebrate community and One Good Thing!

This community-building event will welcome over 1,000 community members to sit down together for a free meal with people they may be neighbors with but still not know.

October 1 will mark the first time the event has been held in Mooresville. The hope for the event is to foster a spirit of connection, community, and relationship between neighbors of all income levels, ethnicities, and beliefs.

With the help of conversation facilitators, guests at each table will be asked to share “One Good Thing” that has happened in their life over the last several days or year. Guests can also share one good thing about the Mooresville community. It is the belief of the organizers that by talking about one good thing, it will remind the community of all we have to be thankful for within Mooresville.

Members of the public are invited to attend the Longest Table and the event is free to attendees.
