The Iredell Arts Council will present a concert by solo artist Daniel Rodriguez on Thursday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will take place at the Iredell Arts Council located at 203 S. Meeting Street in Statesville.

Following his departure from Elephant Revival in 2018, Rodriguez has embarked on a remarkable journey as a solo performer. With his album “Sojourn of a Burning Sun,” he has solidified his place as a distinguished artist, garnering praise from publications like Rolling Stone.

Rodriguez introduced audiences to his solo work with the EP “Your Heart, The Stars, The Milky Way” in 2019, followed by his first full-length album, “Sojourn of a Burning Sun,” in 2020, both produced by his longtime friend and bandmate, Darren Garvey.

His collaboration with The Lumineers on the song “This Is Life (Merry Christmas)” has captured hearts worldwide, showcasing his unique blend of dark humor and heartfelt storytelling.
