The FIFA Club World Cup Champions and English Premier League team Chelsea FC will be sending their official coaching staff to Statesville the week of June 22-26 for the club’s first-ever summer camp in North Carolina.

Chelsea FC’s coaching staff will be flying out this summer to work with community soccer players in several U.S. states.

Craig Hollis, a former employee of Chelsea FC and current executive director of Impact FC, has worked to bring this opportunity to Iredell County.

“With Statesville being the crossroads of I-40 and I-77, it is the perfect location to allow the Greater Charlotte and surrounding areas community players to benefit from such an amazing opportunity,” Hollis said.

The camp will be held at Iredell County’s new soccer complex at Jennings Park, located at 141 Deitz Road in Statesville.

Space is limited to 120 players.
