Special to IFN

Alan and Dawn Allman, owners of Jewelers on Main, were recognized as Downtown Mooresville’s latest Main Street Champions by the N.C. Main Street Program during the organization’s 2026 conference in New Bern.

The award is presented annually to individuals, nominated by the Mooresville Downtown Commission, who have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to their downtown’s advocacy and the betterment of their communities.

Jewelers on Main has been part of Downtown Mooresville since 2012. What started with one building and a bench jeweler’s dream has grown into a multi-building investment — complete with upper-floor living, a rooftop deck, and the addition Guns on Main on the lower level in 2022.

The Allmans have served generations of families as their trusted jeweler for brilliant diamonds, beautiful fine jewelry, elegant watches, treasured gifts, custom made styles and expert jewelry repairs.

From longtime loyal customers to new faces, they’re grateful for the community support — and honored to help shape the future of Downtown Mooresville.

The Allmans are committed to making every customer “feel at home” with personalized service and classic to cutting edge jewelry designs. Their success is built on a tradition of trust, high ethical standards, knowledge of jewelry products and services, and fair pricing and value to customers.

“When you buy from us, you will get good advice from a professional; someone who eats, breathes and sleeps jewelry,” they said. “We have gemological training, read professional journals to keep up to date, travel to trade fairs and seminars and learn all about the products we offer. We can help you be an educated buyer and choose the jewelry that is just right for your lifestyle.”

Jewelers on Main is located at 118 N Main Street in Mooresville.
