Amanda Lee Anderson, 33, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021. She was born on January 11, 1988, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. She was the daughter of Geraldine “Geri” Bombolino Mekeel and Scott Roger Mekeel and his wife Amy Jo.

Amanda was CFO for Suttons HVAC Service. She loved life, her children, family and friends. Amanda was a great cook; she was known for her delicious sauce. She enjoyed gardening, especially sunflowers and lilies, and going to concerts and events with her family. Amanda was referred to as “Super Woman” because she took care and cared for everyone she knew. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

In addition to her father, stepmother and mother, Amanda is survived by her children, Cali Anderson, Jordon Anderson, Brantley Sutton, Annabelle Sutton and Michael Sutton; fiancé, Joe Sutton; stepbrother, Brady Withers; paternal grandfather, Roger Mekeel and his wife Fran; paternal grandmother, Joy Monaco; maternal grandmother, Ginger Bombolino; future in-laws, Beth Sutton and Thomas Ritchey and Michael Sutton. Also surviving is her special friend (brother) Mark Matheny; her biker family and numerous friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021, at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Heritage House, Mooresville.
