Peggy Ann Buchanan Warnock, 66, of Denver passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021. She was born on August 22, 1955, in Iredell County, N.C., to Edward Eugene Buchanan and the late Mattie Pryor Buchanan.

She enjoyed sewing, crafting, and gardening.

She loved her family, especially the time spent with her grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Ronald Warnock; children, Shelley Laska (Jon), Jackson Warnock, and Matthew Warnock (Tiffin); sister, Sandy Buchanan; brothers, Billy Buchanan (Cindy), and Bobby Buchanan (Phyllis); grandchildren, Alex Warnock, Andy Laska, Ryan Laska, Avery Warnock, and Uwharrie Warnock; and great-grandchild, Rohnin Davis.

Peggy showed bravery and courage for four years as she underwent a number of medical procedures and treatments. The family wishes to thank Davita Kidney Care in Huntersville for their care. In addition, the family wishes to thank Carolina Caring Hospice House in Sherrill’s Ford for their compassion and care in comforting Peggy.

A Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Miles officiating.
