Ms. Ruthie Lee Jordan was born in Queens, N.Y., on August 22, 1961, and was the daughter of the late Leroy Jordan and Ola Mae Roseboro. She departed this life on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at her home following an extended illness.

She attended high school and prior to her illness she was a factory worker at International Paper. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and friend.

She leaves to cherish the memory of her life two daughters, Latreena Jordan and Daniene (Wesley) Jordan, both of Statesville; four grandchildren, Messiah Robinson, Madison Bryant, Corbbarious Neal and Corriah Neal; four siblings, Janice Jordan of Statesville, Cheryl Wimms of New York, and Angela Wimms and Curtis (Gaysho) Alexander, both of Georgia; a special friend, Lorenzo Morrison; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Saturday, April 3, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Christian Outreach.

Pastor Sadie Campbell will officiate and burial will follow in the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home is serving the family.
