Steven William DiTrolio, 69, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021, at his residence. He was born on March 16, 1952, in Elizabeth, N.J., to William and Doris Jaillet DiTrolio.

Mr. DiTrolio was owner of Standard Material Transport.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Lykes DiTrolio; children, Steven DiTrolio (Melanie), Paul DiTrolio, and Christine DiTrolio Tufano (Anthony); stepchildren, Yvette-Marie Pellegrino (Roberto), Anthony Comunale (Michelle), and Peter Comunale III; brothers, William “Billy” DiTrolio and James DiTrolio; grandchildren, Kylie DiTrolio, Nicholas and Madison Rae Tufano; step grandchildren, Dante, Giovanni, and Sophia Pellegrino, Santino and Lorenzo Comunale, and Cologino and Giuseppe Comunale.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 30, from 3 to 4 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 4:30 p.m. at Watermark Church in Troutman, N.C. In keeping with the great pleasure that Steve delivered from hosting dinner parties, a meal will be served following the celebration.
