Mrs. Bettie Sue Perry Wynn of 217 Valley Street, Statesville, N.C., entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. She was born to the late Mr. & Mrs. Walter B. Perry in Bertie County, N.C., on May 28, 1944.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Wynn; a son, Glenn Lewis Wynn; and three brothers, Ernest Perry, Walter Grant Perry, and Sgt. SPC. Calvin Perry; a sister, Alma G. White; and sisters-in-law, Dezzie Reddick, Viola Wynn, Mary Feimster, and Teia Feimster.

She was a 1962 honorary graduate of C.G. White High School in Powellsville, N.C.

She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Elaine Wynn, Lorraine Wynn, and Lynne C. Wynn of the home; a son, Michael G. Wynn (Aura) of Lawton, Okla.; five grandchildren, Erika Wynn, Leshea Wynn of Statesville; Craig Lewis (USAF) Lawrence of Wichita Falls, Texas.; Kenya Danisa Massaquoi (Joseph) of Greensboro, N.C, Michael J. Wynn (Wanda) of Ardmore, Okla., and Marlin J. Wynn of Oklahoma; three brothers-in-law, Jimmie Riddick, Roy Wynn, and James Wynn; special friends, Barbara Wynn, Janice Bell and Mae Louis Dalton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, at Belmont Cemetery, Statesville.
