Helen Ostwalt Misenheimer, 97, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Cadence Assisted Living Mooresville.

She was born on October 26, 1924, in Iredell County to the late Gaither B. and Levie Finger Ostwalt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie L. Misenheimer; brother, Bob Ostwalt; sisters, Hazel O. Anderson and husband Pete, and Juanita O. Brown and husband Carl. She worked as a Lab Technician for Burlington Industries, formerly Mooresville Mills, for 50-plus years, before her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church Mooresville.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Brenda Waugh (Jerry); grandchildren, Stephen Waugh (Tracy) and Amy Corriher (Mike); great-grandchildren, Caroline, Madeleine and Victoria Waugh, and John Michael and Lauren Corriher; sister, Jean O. Blackwelder; and sister-in-law, Osteen Ostwalt.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 15, at 3 p.m. in Iredell Memorial Park, Statesville, with Rev. Eddie Hicks officiating.
