Josefina Sanabria Cruz, de 86 años, de Honduras C.A falleció el martes 8 de febrero de 2022 en el Iredell Memorial Hospital después de una breve enfermedad mientras visitaba a su familia. Josefina nació en Honduras el 19 de marzo de 1935 y era hija de Eustacio Sanabria e Inés Cruz. Se graduó de la escuela secundaria en Honduras. Josefina estaba casada con Andrés Raul Paz y juntos compartieron 45 años de matrimonio antes de su fallecimiento hace varios años.
La pasión de Josefina era dedicarse amorosamente a su familia. Se dedicó a criar a sus cuatro hijos y seis nietos para que fueran honestos, respetuosos con los demás y trabajaran duro por sus familias. Su sonrisa amorosa y cariñosa será profundamente extrañada por su familia y amigos por igual.
A Josefina le sobreviven cuatro hijos y 22 nietos; Camilo Paz y su esposa Aurora Funez junto con sus hijos, Dennis Paz, Nieves Paz, Erick Paz, Eva Paz y Kevin Paz; Nora Paz y su esposo Fernando Discua junto con sus hijos, Helen Paz, Andres Paz, Ariel Discua, Heidy Discua, Fernando Discua, Jr. y Nora Discua; Raúl Paz y su esposa Yessenia Castillo y sus hijos, Raul X Paz, Jamie Paz, Jennifer Paz, Brian Paz, Raúl Fernando Paz, Diego Andrés Paz, Gynnell A. Un servicio que celebra la vida de Josefina Sanabria Cruz se llevará a cabo a las 2:00 PM el viernes 11 de febrero de 2022 en la Capilla de la Funeraria Nicholson con el pastor Fernando Discua oficiando. La familia saludará a los amigos a partir de la 1:00 PM del viernes durante una hora antes del servicio. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio de Oakwood.

Josefina Sanabria Cruz, 86, of Honduras C.A passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Iredell Memorial Hospital after a brief illness while visiting her family. Josefina was born in Honduras on March 19, 1935 and was the daughter of Eustacio Sanabria and Inés Cruz.
She graduated from high school in Honduras. Josefina was married to Andrés Raul Paz and together they shared 45 years of marriage before his death several years ago. Josefina’s passion was to devote herself lovingly to her family. She dedicated herself to raising her four children and six grandchildren to be honest, respectful of others, and work hard for their families. Her loving and caring smile will be deeply missed by her family and friends alike.

A service celebrating the life of Josefina Sanabria Cruz will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022, at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Fernando Discua officiating. The family will greet friends starting at 1 p.m. on Friday for one hour before the service. Burial will continue at Oakwood Cemetery.
