Nancy Secrest Keeter, 77, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on July 28, 2022, at Autumn Care of Cornelius. She was born on May 4, 1945, in Baltimore, Md., to the late John Hubert and Betty Griffin Secrest.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Harry Keeter Jr.

Nancy was a member of Southside Baptist Church, where she was in the Ladies Circle and a member of the Sunshine Club. She enjoyed reading in her spare time.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Kristi Glenn; brother, John Secrest (Susan); and grandchildren, Dillon and Tyler Caldwell and Nikolas Wiggam.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 7, at 3 p.m. at Glenwood Memorial Park with Rev. David Klinedinst officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials made to Southside Baptist Church, 525 S. Broad Street, Mooresville, NC 28115.

    I knew Nancy when Bill worked at Asmara in Charlotte. Bill always has positive things to say about Nancy. The few times I met her, she was a very kind, direct woman with a winner’s smile and fast humor. She will be missed.
