Paul Leon Harris, 68, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on March 8, 2023, at the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House, where he fought a good fight to the very end. He was born on July 5, 1954, in Spartanburg, S.C., to Darcy and Theda Frye Harris.

Paul enjoyed playing golf and was a great fan of anything Clemson. He was an avid reader and enjoyed going to Myrtle Beach and staying at Ocean Lakes Campground. He always liked a good cheeseburger. Paul enjoyed his career and was considered a very talented engineer. He was a very personable person who made friends wherever he went. He loved his family very deeply, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Harris; children, Lauren Malone (Adam), and Logan Norris (fiance Michael Griffin); siblings, Robert Harris (Sandra), Vance Harris, and Susan Harr (Billy); in-laws, cousins and numerous nieces and nephews; and his fur babies, Doc, Maggie and Daisy.

A Memorial Service will held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Liberty Baptist Church, Mooresville, N.C., with the Pastor Eddie Graham and Pastor Alfred Kiesling Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends before the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.
