Ti’Ya Grace Dorie Summers, age 8 months, a beloved baby girl and daughter of Titus James Summers and Tiera LaStarr Bristol Summers, was born in Burke County, N.C., on September 8, 2022. She departed this life on Monday, May 15, 2023, at Atrium Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Max Bristol; her great grandparents, James A. Stevenson, Etta Summers Stevenson, Willie Paul “Red” Williams, and Carol King Williams.

She leaves to cherish the memory of her life her parents, Titus James Summers and Tiera LaStarr Bristol Summers of the home; her siblings, Titus Zymere Summers, Bradley Jerrell Bristol, Ti’Jhae LaStarr Mardiania Summers and TiLa Rose Summers; her grandparents, Doris Norman Bristol of Morganton, Kelly Summers and Cherie (Chris) Gillion, both of Statesville; her great grandparents, Gracie Norman Williams and Johnny Fred Hawkins, both of Morganton; uncles and aunts, LaTrese Bristol (Antonio) Lyerly and Max Bristol II, both of Morganton, and Contesa (Daniel) Culbreath Kiera Peet, Malissa Wood, and Kelsey Summers, all of Statesville; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Graveside Celebration of Life services are scheduled for Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 11 a.m at Davisville Baptist Church. Members of the family will receive friends at the Cemetery from 10:30 until 11 a.m., but will assemble at the residences of the grandparents, Cherie Gillion at 602 Brandon Street; or Kelly Summers at 141 Crosby Road, Statesville, at other times.
