Lawrence Ray Nosker, 76, of Davidson, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

He left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew him. His legacy as a loving Dad and Pop will be cherished by his family and community. Beyond his remarkable 30-year military service, including two tours in Vietnam as well as the Air National Guard, where he received numerous awards, he also served in the Patriot Guard and was a Sergeant-at-Arms in the American Legion. Lawrence’s heart overflowed with love and compassion for his children and grandchildren. Whether it was making soup at Richard’s Coffee Shop, guiding Boy Scout Troop #173 or being an active Do Dad with Girl Scouts, Lawrence exemplified the true spirit of service and dedication. His passion for life, manifested through his love for motorcycling and his active involvement in various organizations, will continue to inspire generations. Lawrence’s memory will forever be a beacon of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Debbie Wilson Nosker.

Those left to cherish Lawrence’s memory are his sister, Nancy Nosker; and his children, Blake Nosker (Emily Nosker), Dawn Nosker (Christopher Calzaretta), Jake Nosker (Haley Nosker), and Jodi Nosker (Jason Kelly); and grandchildren, Mason, Bruce, Gemma, Bryson, Christian, Emerson, Evalynn, Chloe, Miles, Piper, and Jeremy.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville with Rev. Tom Wiggs officiating. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. at Eastside Baptist Church, 182 Linwood Road, Mooresville, NC, 28115
