Mary Louise Bailey Evernham, 85, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on May 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 6, 1939, MaryLou dedicated her life to caring for others, leaving a lasting impact on all those she crossed paths with.

With a degree in nursing, MaryLou pursued a career in healthcare, touching the lives of countless patients with her compassionate care and unwavering dedication. She served as a nurse for over 20 years at River View Hospital in Red Bank, N.J. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the lights of her life, and she found joy in being a loving mother and friend.

MaryLou was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond D. Evernham Sr.

She is survived by her children, Raymond Donald Evernham Jr. and wife Erin, William Edward Evernham and wife Barbara, and LuAnn Evernham; grandchildren, Danelle Stefani Richards, Donald Raymond Marvel, William Raymond Evernham, Raymond John, Scott Eugene, Taylor Kathleen and Cate Susan; and great grandchildren, Christopher, Aiden, Harper and Colby.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8. 2024, at the Heritage House of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville.
