Mrs. Sunya Francine Foote Hill, beloved daughter of the late Oscar Foote and Mildred Mott Foote, was born in Iredell County, N.C., on December 30, 1961. She departed this life on March 22, 2024, at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C., following an extended illness.

She was a graduate of North Iredell High School and was a member of Rapture Preparation Church #5. She was a cook for many years.

She leaves to remember and celebrate her life her son, Ronnie Eugene (Trudy) Allison Jr. of Statesville; her daughter, Thur-van Allison of the home; her brothers, Oscar Samuel Foote Jr. and James Calvin Foote; five sisters, Dehaven Foote Reeves, Andrian L. Murray, Tewana Foote Allison, Gail Foote Tucker, and Crystal Foote; four grandchildren, Destiny Allison, Rachel Allison, Ariyanna Allison and Janiah Gillespie; great grandchildren, Chyna Alllison, Josiah Allison, Kylin Allison and Jamary Allison; and a host of cousins, other relatives and dear friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Wednesday, March 26, 2024, at 4 p.m. at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home. Elder Leonard Hayes will officiate and Elder Michael Wilson will eulogize.

Mrs. Hill will remain at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home, where members of the family will receive friends from 3:30 until 4 p.m., but will assemble at the residence of her son, Ronnie (Trudy) Allison, 817 Seventh Street, Statesville, N.C. at other times.
