Cherry Lynn Moore, 66, passed away on April 25, 2026. She was born in Guilford County, N.C., on December 9, 1959, to the late Cleo Haley and Dorothy Lee Wilson.

Cherry was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She was known for her strong will, spirited nature, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Though she never hesitated to speak her mind, beneath her fierce exterior was a deeply caring heart and a profound love for her family. Her strength, loyalty, and steadfast presence shaped the lives of those closest to her.

She treasured every moment spent with family, who meant the world to her. Cherry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will forever live on in their hearts.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband, Garry Moore Sr.; her son, Gary Moore Jr., daughter-in-law; Sanaa Alyemeni; and her two beloved grandchildren.

The family will hold a private service.
