
Sandra Hart Kasmer, 69, of Mooresville, N.C., went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 28, 2026, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Born on August 6, 1956, in Berkeley, Calif., to the late Paul and Joyce Hart, Sandra was a faithful member of Fair View United Methodist Church and will be fondly remembered for her vibrant spirit and colorful outfits, her generosity and thoughtfulness for others, and her deep affection for all the furry four-legged friends that she lovingly fed and cared for.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rick Hart; and her husband, Jerry Kasmer.
She is survived by her son, Nicholas Phillips (Christina); daughter, Amanda Wright (James); sister, Susan Hart Triplet; her grandchildren, David Phillips and Daisy Solano, and many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A memorial service to celebrate Sandra’s life will be held on Saturday, May 9, at 3 p.m. at Fair View United Methodist Church in Mooresville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lake Norman Humane in honor of Sandra’s love for animals.
