Shirley lived a full and vibrant life marked by her devotion to family, faith, and the simple joys that brought her happiness.

Shirley graduated from Delhass High School in Philadelphia. Early in her career, she became a licensed beautician, went on to become a ReMax Real Estate Agent, and later attended Columbus State University in Columbus, Ga. Her education was a foundation for her lifelong curiosity and love of learning.

Left to cherish her memory are brother Carl Frid, Michael and Vicky Brandon, Jay and Susie Brandon, Matthew and Judith Brandon, Tracey and Vernon Price, and Elizabeth Keels. She was a proud grandmother to 15 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 17 great-grandchildren. Shirley’s family was the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Francis Brandon; son Hank Brandon; sister Debbie Ferraro-Frid; father Roland Frid; and mother Florence Moslof-Frid.

A devoted Christian, Shirley found strength in her faith throughout her life. She enjoyed birdwatching—especially for red cardinals—and could often be found sitting in her favorite chair soaking up the sun. Music was another passion of hers; she delighted in classical compositions, such as opera, soul, country, and rock and roll. Shirley also loved antique shopping and found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Shirley’s warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her memory will continue to bring comfort to those who loved her.
