A network of home fellowships in Statesville and Hickory will host a special event on Saturday, May 30, in honor of the 500th anniversary of William Tyndale’s translation of the New Testament into English and the impact of his work on the founding of the United States. The event, which runs from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., will be held at The Upper Room, located at 129 W. Broad Street in Statesville.
An interactive program on Tyndale’s work and legacy is planned for 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. A special presentation of the movie “God’s Outlaw” will begin at 6:30 p.m.
A catered lunch and supper is available or all participants. The cost is $15 for lunch; $15 for supper; and $30 for those wanting lunch and supper.
The registration deadline is Saturday, May 23.
