Mrs. Tameria Eylane Parker Corpening, 57, of 2664 10th Avenue Lane NE, Conover, N.C., was born in Iredell County on October 28, 1963. She was the daughter of the late Robert Franklin Parker and Willie Lewis Jones Parker. She departed this life on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C., following an extended illness. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Franklin Parker Jr.

Tameria was a graduate of Alexander Central High School and also a graduate from N.C. A & T State University in Greensboro, N.C. She was a faithful member of Third Creek Baptist Church, and while there she attended Sunday School, sang in the choir and was a member of the Trustee Board.

She was married to Steve E. Corpening, who survives. In addition to her husband, she leaves to cherish the memory of her life two sisters, Dianne Jones Coulter of Gastonia, N.C., and Donna P. Moser of Stony Point; nephews, Phillip J. Parker of Stony Point, Johnathan A. Coulter of Gastonia, N.C., and Robert Aaron Parker of Stony Point; along with other relatives and friends.

Graveside Service will be conducted at Third Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Stony Point, N.C., on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 11 a.m. with Minister Joy Jones officiating and Rev. Tommy Carpenter offering the eulogy.
