Special to Iredell Free News

The Iredell County Partnership for Young Children (ICPYC) will host a community resource fair for new and expecting parents in collaboration with Healthy Blue NC and Iredell Health Systems. This free event will be held at the Troutman ESC Park Pavilion on Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Over a dozen community partners will be on site to provide valuable information, resources, and support to new and expecting parents. There will also be door prizes, car seat checks, and a safe medication disposal station. Attendees will receive free diapers and wipes, while supplies last.

“Operation Healthy Start is a great way for pregnant women, new parents and their families to learn about all the local support available to help them as they embark on this journey,” said Lisa Pullis, program director of the Iredell County Partnership for Young Children.
