The 2022 Carolina Brotherhood Memorial Ride began Monday morning in Mooresville. Mooresville Police Department and Mooresville Fire-Rescue escorted the riders to their first stop in Concord.

The Carolina Brotherhood Memorial Ride honors fallen public safety servants across North and South Carolina. Pedaling just over 600 miles this year, riders will honor and remember 50 Carolina Public Safety Fallen lost in the line of duty in 2019 and 2020.

The ride began in Mooresville to honor MPD Officer Jordan Sheldon, who was killed in the line of duty on May 4, 2019.
